In order to move books from one location to another, you would complete an "Active" to "Active transfer.
District Coordinators can use this process to move books from one school to another or to move books to/from the district office to a school.
School Coordinator can use this process to move books from their school to the district office. School coordinators cannot generally transfer books from their school to another school due to permissions but this ability may vary based on your setup.
The steps to complete an "Active" to "Active transfer is as follows:
Step 1
Click on the menu and select "Inventory" > "Titles"
Step 2
Using the left filtering options, search for the textbook
Step 3
Click on the title of the book you which to transfer some quantity to surplus
Step 4
Click on the "+ Action" button
Step 5
Select "Active Transfer" and click "Next"
Step 6
Select the location that you wish to transfer the books to and click "Next"
Step 7
Select any additional titles that you would like to transfer to this location
Step 8
Select the quantity that you want to move. Please note that this page shows many textbooks are currently available (active) to transfer. You cannot transfer more than you currently have available.
The green arrow shows that you are trying to transfer more than the 3 books currently in active.
The purple arrows show that you are transferring 6 of the available 12 books to surplus.
Step 9
Once you have completed the quantities, click the "Next" button to advance
Step 10
Review the information on the summary page and once ready, click the "Submit" button
Step 11
You will see a confirmation page that shows you the transfer was successful. At this point, your inventory counts should be updated and you can click "Done" to return to the main page.
